 Gonzalez e-flat reeds?
Author: Ben

Does anyone here have experience with the Gonzalez E-flat reeds? If so, how do they compare in strength to Vandoren E-flat reeds? I've really enjoyed using Gonzalez for Bb and Bass the past few years, and was glad to see that they recently started making E-flat reeds, too. Does anyone know which stores carry them? WWBW or Muncy perhaps?

I've been using Gonzalez on the E flat since they came out as I'm such a fan of the B flat reeds.
I think they're about a quarter strength softer than the equivalent Vandoren, but unfortunately they don't yet do them in quarter strengths.
If you find Vandoren 3's tend a little on the soft side you will probably like Gonzalez 3.5
