Yes it was spectacular,
I listened to the Beethoven Trio and Brahms' 2nd sonata with much attention. Spectacular - all of them, but learning off Paul would be a great oppurtunity - mind you I have played for him in a masterclass in the past.
-- But unfortunately I didn't really get to hear the Brahms Trio. I might be doing the beethoven trio for chamber soon, but what do you guys think of either the Beethoven or Brahms Trio?
Thanks

The Beethoven Trio was a first of kind as far as I can tell (GBK might correct me here), at any rate is the first major work for clarinet, 'cello and piano. I enjoyed it, and agreed with Mr. Dean's comment about the last movement being light weight ... but considering this combination was in its infancy he was probably being a little experimental, not sure? The two Brahms works were beautifully played, in particular the E-flat sonata was devine, almost perfect.
Without music, the world would be grey, very grey.
