Not this year, but I was at the conference in Singapore last year. Definitely worth while if you can make it. There were two outstanding events-The Boston Brass Quintet, (who not only play amazingly well but also sing barbershop!) and the Tokyo Kosei Wind Symphony. And of course the thrill of performing with my friends in PSWE (Pacific Symphonic Wind Ensemble- which was founded by Morrie Backun.) Altogether an unforgettable experience.

Hey I saw PSWE performing with Jens Lindemann when I toured to Vancouver with the University of Calgary Wind Ensemble in March. Good job guys!

Hey Sean
Thanks, I must say we rocked that night. Jens was unbelievable!! And I enjoyed your playing as well.
I had the pleasure of meeting Glen Price and his wife in Singapore last July. I was very impressed with they fact that he conducted without using a score. What a memory he must have!

He always conducts that way in performance... it's incredible to be a part of. I have been lucky enough to work with him on a day to day basis through the Wind Ensemble, UofC Wind Ensemble Exceutive and his undergrad conducting class! He is an awesome conductor and a great man who I have learned a lot from thus far.
