 Takashi Yoshimatsu's Fuzzy Bird Sonata

Does anyone know where I could find the sheet music to this piece for clarinet/piano? It's originaly for sax, but I found it captivating from a performance by Alessandro Carbonare on a new CD of his, No Man's Land.

Ben,

The alto sax version is available from sheetmusicplus. There has been some discussion on the board in the past concerning this piece and whether it is the same as his "Four Pieces in Bird Shape." However, the publishers are different and the timings sufficiently different that I doubt they are the same piece. Run a search of the archives on "yoshimatsu" and you will find several other comments.

Best regards,
jnk

Another user of this board wanted to perform the piece (having paid for it...), but didn't have the time or inclanation to do the necessary transposition work, so I did it for him.

I still have work (in B flat) saved as Sibelius files, but it would be worth chatting to studioline if he pops up, as I know he had to do some further octave transpositions to match the sax version to Carbonare's recording.

Thanks for the help! I would love to get a copy of your transposition. Hopefully we can chat more via email.
