SNs of Selmer Clarinets

Is there any listing for the serial numbers of Selmer Bb clarinets since 1978? The listing shown under the equipment section, shows the A Series - 1978 to date. Has the lettering system progressed beyond the A series?

If you call selmer USA they can tell you the age of your instrument.

I bought a Selmer Recital new a couple of years ago with a Serial number of M65XX, so they must have progressed somewhat since the AXXXX series.

I called Selmer today. I just bought a Selmer 10S, SN Dxxxx and was told it was made between 1985-88. I wass asked if I wanted more detailed information which would require going in to the archives. I was not interested, for the moment, with more detailed information. Thanks for the help. Wes Franklin
