I've put this out there to a few of my fellow clarinet friends and they have turned me down so I figured I put it on here.
I want to find a serious college clarinetist (and or a very mature and expierenced high school student) to trade Orchestral excerpts with. Meaning like, Beethoven, Ravel and so forth.
To clarify I'd record myself and they would record themself and we would trade our clips and provide honest feed back. This wouldn't be a contest to see who is the better clarinetist, or to inflate egos, but to provide honest and clear constructive criticism to improve performance.
I know we get help from our excellent teachers but you know as students we hear things in other students playing and we definitely miss things in our own that others hear that never say anything about because its rude.
Either way I think this is a great idea.
Anyone Interested?

This is a very cool idea... I am a second year performance major at the University of Calgary, and I would be down with this for sure! Where are you from, where are you studying?? and what to start with!?!
I have tried to do similar things at school, but sometimes it is hard to constructively critisize one another, expecially in a smaller school.
