Good Morning to all,
I am not a Buffet person at all, more a LeBlanc. So when trying to research a R13 Sn#32197 I come up empty. I have searched Buffet sight and this forum as well; perhaps I'm not looking in the correct spot. I'm looking to confirm that this sn# infact is a R13 and its approx age. Thus far all I am able to ascertain is approx 1955-56 (+ -). Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Chuck

This clarinet was made in 1949-1950. It's professional 'Master Bore' clarinet. Polycylindrical RC bore was introduced in 1955.

Vytas,
Thank you for your post. Is it then in fact a R13? And in your professional opinion what is the flavor of it sound it should produce? What would you est its value to be? I'm sorry for all the questions, if it were a LaB it would be no problem.
Thank you and I'll wait for your additional post.
Chuck
