 Valentine's day cards

Has anyone else ever thought of using used reeds as decoration or as part of a greeting card? I have created a rather unique clarinet-themed Valentine's Day card that certainly can't be found in a store. What do all of you think of this idea?

That's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. What kind of printer/paper/ink/font did you use for this? I think if I can get the exact same set-up, I can remake it.

High praise indeed for my modest project. I actually created this under Linux, not Windows, so the programs and fonts used are probably different. The main font (for the clarinet words) is Bitstream Vera Sans, and the font in the middle is URW Chancery L. It was compiled in Inkscape, a program somewhat similar to Adobe Illustrator, if I recall correctly.

I have attached the image file of the central part of the card if you're interested, as well as a 'making of' image.

IMHO, creative but your choice of names of equipment manufacturers makes it look like an ad out of "The Clarinet." I think the names of composers or, at least, clarinetists would have been a better choice. Just my $.02. Take it with a grain of salt.

Best regards,
