I'm sure many of you here are familiar with the S. Paris C85-105. Thats the mpc i play on with the Omega im using. im using vandoren 4's but i want to switch to FOF Gonzalez since i here they are better. what do you think. are they worth getting? im using the standard SP ligature since my rovner dark doesnt really work that well.

I find Gonzales FOF's to be great, I like Oliveri better, but not by that much.
Keep in mind that this is a much thicker cut than a blue box Vandoren so they will play a little differently. Gonzales reeds are also much more consistant than Vandoren, which is a real plus. A #3.75 or #4 FOF should work great with a C85.
