Hi, I'm about to enter college and I want to start my own music collection. I'd like some help with compiling a list of standard pieces every clarinetist should know. Thank you for your help, Kathryn

A good start is to check out the teaching syllabus of Robert Marcellus.

A great teacher gives you answers to questions
you don't even know you should ask.

Dr Shannon Scott's college performance repertoire listing is excellent:

Tchaikovsky wrote Capriccio Italien. Rimsky-Korsakov wrote Capriccio Espanol.

Finzi Bagatelles. Not the most challenging pieces generally, but still worth playing and good 'padding' for recital programmes. Good for 'uneducated' audiences.

Thanks, Mr. Kissinger. Senior moment coupled with my library being under construction.
