 trick fingering?
Author: clairannette

Does anyone have a trick fingering for a fast tremolo between F on the top line of the staff to the A-flat above it? (i.e. Bartok Contrasts 2nd mvt) I've played around with it and can't figure any out on my own.... any suggestions? Thanks.

Play the F5 with the standard fingering: TR x x x / x o o

Tremolo to Ab5 by lifting the middle finger of the LH.

The other alternative? Buy a Bb clarinet with an articulated G# key ...GBK

Ooh, in Whitacre's Lux Aurumque (sp?), how would you do the tremolo between throat Bb and clarion D???? I need to get a fingering book.
