B&H 1-10 opportunity

Author: equi47  Date:   2005-11-07 17:40 Hi there, First time poster, long a lurker. I've just come across a clarinet for sale in my local area. The guy has it listed as a B&H 1-10 which from searches here on the BB looks like a plastic version of the Edgeware after Boosey split the wood & plastic versions. My question is this: the price he is asking is very reasonable & pending my review/lookover of the instrument, would this possibly make a good back up instrument? I currently have a CSO and my new Hanson T-6 Rosewood should be here this week (woo hoo!). I don't perform much, but being in the midwest I certainly do not want to take the new Hanson outside (and the CSO plays like a well... a CSO). Opinions? Thanks in advance, Jami
