I finally have a piece challenging enough for even the best of professionals!

Good luck with it!

Why didn't you include page 2?

This has been going around the internet for over a year...GBK

Page 2 is actually the second page of another piece, the String Quartet No. 556(b) for Strings in A Minor (Motoring Accident). Look at the clefs: treble, treble, alto, bass.

John Stump's music on the web is 10th generation photocopies. Pristine versions are available from poettomm@yahoo.com

I LOVE the commentary and notes that are included throughout the music. From "Switch to Aluminum Bow" to "If there is a 3rd clarinet, some violins may go"

THanks for the laugh! I think I'm gonna hit up that email and ask for some copies for self-practice. At least I'll have something else to butcher other than K622 . . . .

I posted it in the bandroom today with a note that said: "Attention, this is the All State Etudes for 2007!" and the clarinets all freaked out. It was pretty funny. Even my band director loved it! He thought I was serious when I said it was my solo for next year!

No it's not possible to play it :-P

Unless predicted notes are actually able to come out of the smooth side of a violin :-P
