Union musicians in NYC help colleagues in Louisiana
Author: John J. Moses
Date:   2005-10-28 20:56

From the New York Times:

NY Philharmonic, Relief for Louisiana Colleagues
http://www.nytimes.com/2005/10/28/arts/music/28waki.html

This is just one example of how Union musicians help their colleagues far away in Louisiana. Broadway has done the same, as have many other Union orchestras and musical groups.

Just a follow up - the concert was wonderful. We sat on the right hand side in a box on the third tier so we were about even with the third row. Had an amazing view of Mr. Perlman and all the clarinetists.

What a great night of music.
