Rick Sayre of Sayre Woodwinds in Lombard was the apprentice of Kaspar and he still makes mouthpieces and sells them to customers. What are your opinions of his mouthpieces as opposed to those of Kaspar himself, if you have tried Rick's? I personally found a nice tone out of the one I bought off of him after trying 8 or 9 of his today.

I haven't had the opportunity to play one of his mouthpieces, but he did do a minor repair on a mouthpiece for me a few years ago. He did an excellent job, at a very reasonable price. I would expect his products to display the same qualities.

I've had positive comments from people whose opinions I respect.
