I placed an order with online Musician's Friend for some reeds and other accessories. I received the package today and the reed box was damaged, had been opened and was missing 3 of the 5 reeds. I immediately called customer service and they are sending a replacement box! I received the email confirmation for this replacement order within 2 minutes of hanging up. WOW! I wish all companies were this great.

Just wanted to share a happy customer service story

I wonder if the mailman checked 'em all first and just took the good ones

I recently had my US-made sunglasses repaired by their French 'office', replaced both lenses for the price of one and returned them to Spain in 5 days, door-to-door!
Also had the pleasure of a call from a very sexy-sounding French lady(don't they all?) asking if everything was satisfactory

Best regards
Roger

when I was beta testing Grand Concert bass clarinet reeds the one's shipped c/o the Symphony regularly arrived opened and with some missing--if they arrived at all. Finally I had Rico send them to my home instead of c/o the Kennedy Center. Either there is a reed shipping virus or a klepto bass clarinet (tenor sax?) mole in the KC mailroom!
