From the serial number, I can tell you that the particular clarinet you are looking at dates from 1971 - before Buffet moved production of the Evette to Germany. The one you are looking at was made in France but in a different factory from the one where professional Buffets are made. In good condition, it is a good student level clarinet, some think better than the E11. IMO, it does have better keywork. In fair/average condition, I would say it's probably worth $125 - $150 (using eBay as a guide). If it has been completely reconditioned with all new pads, corks etc., you could do worse than to buy it for $250 - $300. You probably would not be able to sell it for that much, however. I fixed up a 1972 wooden Evette for my daughter to use as her "school" clarinet. Her private teacher and I both thought it was a pretty decent clarinet. BTW, if the one you're looking at is marked "Master Model," it's worth a little more.
Best regards,
jnk
