I can't believe it...in one month I am moving far away, and have to stop giving lessons to my clarinet students! It's remarkably sad, though exciting. I talked to a teacher I had, who i really respect, and she said she would love to take on my students. But...still. I've loving seeing them grow, musically and mentally, and it's just awesome seeing them grasp the new concepts, and seeing them overcome hurdles I overcame in my own playing. But, now they move on, and will learn new things with a great new teacher...*cries*
So many instruments to play........so little time to play them!

I went from teaching to the military and never was able to reconnect with the kids. Several (most) were unmotivated kids who made their progress ONLY during our lesson periods and did no/little practice. Those kids were for cash flow to the music studio where I worked.
Two others (boss's gift to me), however, had lots of potential. I hope that they enjoy their playing still.
