Some how on the 5th hole-key (lower-joint), like half of the nickel on it looks like it got scratched off. I just wanted to know any suggestions on how to cover it up.

Hey, that same problem is happening with my clarinet and the more it wears away, the keys have more of a pink tint to them. I'd recommend taking a Q tip and a small, small amount of nail polish remover and putting it on the keys that you notice are wearing away. This will help prevent the problem, if that is what you are trying to do. Be careful that you don't get any on your clarinet or between your keys, as they will stick.

Nail polish remover??
That's acetone (if I recall). Wouldn't it be Clear Nail Polish instead? The remover would maybe clean it, but it wouldn't adhere to anything at all as it's just a liquid cleaner - do I have this right?
