I can't seem to access the B-flat clarinet mouthpieces section at the Vandoren.com website to read about the difference of the 3 Vandoren 5RV Series Bb Clarinet Mouthpieces i found at the Woodwind Brasswind website..
13 Series / Profile 88 / Traditional
Does anyone know what the differences are?
And maybe make a suggestion for a beginner/intermediate with Buffet E11?
I'd also like to get some Vandoren V12 Bb reeds.. do you suggest I try 2.5 and 3 strengths?
Thanks

"Traditional" is their regular mouthpiece line, as opposed to:
Profile 88 -- mouthpieces with a more shallow beak angle (the slanted top part of the mouthpiece) than the Traditional mouthpieces. They can make tonguing and articulation easier.
13 Series -- the mouthpieces optimized for use on the R-13 (though they do work with other clarinets) and usually pitched at A=440, the standard American pitch.
Try out as many as you can to see what works best for you. As for the V12 reeds, stick with the suggested strengths for whatever mouthpiece you select.
