Hi all,
I'm new to this community, i'm a returning clarinet player and I'd like to know what's the best way to learn music that isn't documented in any books..
I'd like to possibly document it as well..
Thanks,
George

Begin by recording as much of it as you are able, using the highest-quality reproducing equipment you can afford, remembering that even a cheap cassette recorder is much better than nothing at all.
With the recorded music then available, this allows you to reduce the music to standard notation, if it can be represented in standard notation -- if it truly can't, invent your own notation system. Reduction to standard notation may be assisted greatly by using a computer application which will delineate the music played into a microphone.
To learn to play it, just play. Them play it more and more. If you have a good "feel" for it, you'll succeed in playing it.
Good luck and regards,
John

Just as I thought, there really is no "magic" way.
I have the music in MP3 format, I will use one of them slowing down programs and try it.
Thanks John!
