Just got one of Walters Bass pieces that he personally used, what a great mouthpiece, I used his CXBB piece before this new one, but it really blows it out of the water. I doubt it could get much better than playing on a Buffet Low C Bass with a CXBS mouthpiece! So nice, great clarion F, F# and G

Yep - I know - Walter sent me a few M/P's last year. I've got two CXBB's for my Buffet and a colleague has the CXBS for her Selmer. We're doing a duet (probably Romberg) at a farewell/birthday bash for her and her husband. They're moving to US from UK later this year.

So two Grabners on stage in UK

Could this be a premiere ??

I also think the Portnoy Bb soprano clarinet pieces are used in the Philharmonia, as well the Hite D facing is used by Mike Collins.

The Grabner CXBS also gets my vote. This mouthpiece ( I bought it last spring) makes playing my model 1193-2 Buffet bass clarinet sooooooo nice--and even fun!!!

He also makes "little" clarinet mouthpieces which I hope to try soon. He told me they are made from the Zinner blank and are priced "reasonably."
