I Have been looking for information on a selmer (made in france) mP. I am curious to know how the HS** rates with other good quality MP's? Thanks

The HS** mp search was very informative. I will use it more often. Thanks Mark.

I just got an hs** . It is my best one yet. I also have a new york selmer that says "3" is my second favorite. Selmer seems to make good mouthpieces. At least the ones i have tried.

I played a HS* for several years but just switched to a B* and it is like a relief. Much easier to play. Plus with the HS** you will need a fairly stiff reed.

I played on a Selmer HS** crystal mouthpiece (vintage 1964) for 4 years. When I was useing it, it never crossed my mind that there were better mouthpieces. I still use it some for outdoor performances. I also have the HS*, and C*.
