... seems like you've got what amounts to an 'ethnic' oboe, perfect for all those wild mid-European folk tunes, you say it's got a wonderful sound?
If you have opportunity for that kind of music, or really fancy working your way around thataway eventually, why not keep it, ensemble tunable fiddler & bass, plus guitar and non-pitch hand percussionist, a few dancers ... show's on the road
... or else you have an obscure oboe museum artifact, or enthusiast collector's piece, consider what online trading could do to help out there
... and you're looking for another modern oboe tuned to A440 instead, so you can play happily with democratic majority of perversely unconverted ensemble friends
