It is a sad way I fear we are going...with the rise of downloadable sheet music, there may not be decent print music publishers around forever.
If you ever have the need to buy band or orchestra music from JW Pepper, you now have the option on many publications to e-Print - a fancy way of saying download the files and print yourself. This would be a good option if it wasn't the same price as buying the original pack, complete with cover, stapled score and A3/double page parts where required.
It is similar to the demise of the LP and the library - there is just something special about the smell, the feel and knowing you have the 'professionally' printed version.
