Not specifically on topic, but after I learned to play horn, in my 40's, my singing improved dramatically because I had no concept of breath support before.

The hardest switch for me to make between instruments is to go from oboe to tuba....one being the least amount of air I can think of and the other being the most. It takes about a half hour of tuba playing to get my air moving in the proper way.
