Rico just put out the new style boxes of the Rico Reserve, and like the Classics, they no longer have the humidipack (which sometimes players would mistakenly try to use as a regular reed humidipack to save the $ on getting the correct humidity instead of the storage level), come 10 to a Box, and the outside of the box is plastic wrapped/sealed. The Box is small just like the Classics are, so it will fit in your cases - unlike the previous design if you didn't have a front pocket case cover.
Just inspected a box, and they all look very good, and are cut correctly.
I'm an Artist for them, but am not paid to mention, etc. at all. I play em, cause I like em.

Do they make a German cut in this new line, as with the previous Reserves?
Or is this not a new line but perhaps only new packaging?

Not a new line - new packaging.
Fits much easier in a case. Also I like the 10 reed concept, 5 was so few, practically half 
Not sure about the German Cut, but I'm sure they didn't change the line, and probably did the 10 reed packaging for that also, if it wasn't previously.
I'll check for you tomorrow.
