How do you know it was a "Reynolds" oboe? Just because the eBay seller said that's what it was?
If it plays okay, and you like it, then don't worry about whether you got a good deal or not. Even a Loree, if it didn't play right, wouldn't be a "good deal".
I personally have never heard of a "Reynolds" oboe, but that doesn't necessarily prove anything.
