I have a chance to purchase an second hand oboe-with no name of the maker- only a serial number stamped on all three sections-- the serial number is SO 22.
It is a Conservatory model with a third octave key, wooden, quite heavy, Long F, G# trill key right hand, Bb trill key right hand.
It plays well (I'm only just starting at age 67) and no cracks in the wood.
Would anyone know the make of this oboe and approximate value?
