Hello fellow oboists,
I've been using a Vitry remake knife for the past year, and I'm thinking of an upgrade right now. My current knife doesn't hold its edge as long as any of the Landwells I've tried, and it isn't as good for tip work either. I've looked for Landwell knives online, but they all seem to be terribly expensive. Could you guys recommend a good hollow ground knife for tipwork that isn't above $70?
