What is THIS? (?early oboe?)

Author: Orinoco  Date:   2014-08-11 00:24 Attachment:  OBOE.jpg (95k) Someone is trying to sell this as a clarinet, but I suspect it is not a clarinet No markings to be seen on the instrument or case. Does not look to have modern keys. Is this a very old oboe?
