Hi everyone,
I'm adjusting the EH to hit high notes (the show I'm playing requires everything up to E above the stave).
Adjusting LH1 down made the highs achievable, but made C# flat and fuzzy - okay, I know how to fix that, you raise the RH2 pad a fraction using the screw on the stem of the RH pinkie C touch, right?
Nope. A full turn and a half later, and my RH2 pad had not raised at all. I took a closer look at the mechanism and found another screw below the RH Eb touch. That did the trick - but now for the hard question; what does the screw on the stem of the RH C touch actually do, on an English Horn? I screwed it back down but I have no idea how to adjust it correctly, or even what it is meant to adjust.
