 cold weather and reeds - HELP!

ok so it has recently gotten a lot colder over night here and my reeds aren't playing too well. pretty much the notes from low E down I have to really force to get to speak at all (and half the time it's coming out in some pitch about an octave higher).

any scraping tips that will help my reed speak?

Is this even a reed issue, or could something be wrong with my oboe? I had a sticky key last week, but that was middle C.
