Lately I've felt the urge to refer to my instrument as a cor anglais, rather than English horn.
I know all about the murky reasons why the name "English horn" evolved, and it has just started to hit me that cor angalis feels really more accurate. I know in America that EH is accepted whereas elsewhere in the world CA is proper.
Anyway, I just wondered if anyone else has had this feeling.
