Hi,

Does anyone have an experience with a Howarth S40CT. I am thinking of getting one as my 1st oboe. I played oboe at school then spent 4 years at university unable to afford one. Its been 9 years since i have played and have decided its about time i got back into the world of double reeds. I have sorely missed my oboe and want to get a good oboe that will allow me to play as much music as i care too and that will last me a good few years. Well at least until i can afford the rest of the oboe family :)

Does any one have recommendations for other makes in the £2000 - £3000 price range.

Any advice much appreciated.
