 anyone ever tried the duduk?

I heard a recording of the Armenian oboe-like folk instrument called the duduk today, for the first time - what an amazing sound! Like a cross between a cor anglais and a saxophone, with a bit of flute mixed in. I'd be interested to know if anyone out there has ever tried to play it, and how easy (or otherwise) it is for regular oboists.
