Yeah, I saw that a couple of weeks ago. He still has his fixed (non-screw) ligatures, but this is new.
I like the rail design that directly contacts the reed. I think the material itself (hard rubber) lends itself for greater resonance and vibration.
It doesn't appear to be the most dense material based on the photo compared to his mouthpieces and barrels.
Pricey, but a bit competitive compared to Silverstein, the AK, and Vandoren's carbon fiber ligature.
I would be very curious to try it. I'm still on the hunt for an older Rovner Eddie Daniels ligature EDII clarinet ligature from the late 90's that I can't find anywhere... and this would seem to be an evolution from that for me.
