Dear Friends,
My WW5 needs a loud metronome or one that has output plug for a mic/amp or directly to an amp. We are working on a modern piece and need a click we can all hear. Any suggestions? Thanks, Corey (CZ)

Our quintet had the same issue. Our Hornist used a metronome app on his phone with a small portable Bluetooth speaker. Worked great!

"... small portable bluetooth speaker."
I can recommend the little oval Onn that Walmart used to carry. Surprisingly decent sound and throwaway cheap.

I think every modern electric metronome has a headphone output. You can find the plug and or adapter for any "amp" situation at Guitar Center.

The Boss DB-33 is unbelievably loud and quite flexible in setting tempo, after-beats, triplets and the like. Available used (only) for ~$60 on Ebay https://ebay.to/3rZzdY6 A bit pricey but easier than carrying around and fussing with an external device. Very easy to adjust volume and tempo. The sliders allow volume adjustment of individual beats. Manual attached

Hi,
Got any of those speakers that used to come with desktop computers. One has a small amp and a volume control. Plug in the output of your metronome to it and you are set.
You will probably need a cable with different ends but that's an easy purchase on-line.

PS I had everything I needed in my box of leftover electronics parts. I save all sorts of cable and power units.
