How are they compared to Vandoren blue box bass reeds?
If a blue box 2.5 is suitable to me, what Fibracell strength would you recommend?
The Fibracell strength chart puts both a Fibracell 2.0 and a 2.5 in the same range as a Vandoren 2.5 - but it doesn't say which kind of Vandoren. Besides that this chart seems to include both soprano and bass clarinets, as well as all the saxes. Thus it may not be too accurate - as strength charts in general  .

It was sooooo long ago for me that I don't recall what my conversion was, but I used standard (blue box) Vandorens and Fibracell interchangeably. For no good reason (such as humidity or altitude) sometimes one would just work better than another. I think though I went up in strength for the Fibracell.
No matter what, getting the right fit for yourself will be a project. I notice Amazon offers the Fibracell........and they take refunds! Order a selection of strengths, taking advantage of whatever time you have (just to ensure you don't have to move up or down after a week) and then return the rejects.......and order more like that one!
