I've been trying to get a hold of his tone and technique exercise book but with no success. Every time I have emailed the given address, it gets returned. I saw it in person once- a very thorough workout.

I just checked out the site, and there is a sample of Carbonaire playing a Phil Woods Sonata...I never knew Woods wrote a sonata for clarinet.

In regard to the Phil Woods Sonata-is it a transcription of Phil's
Sonata for alto sax and Piano?

now, isn't this his "old" website? it's been around for a while. i've got a feeling that there's another Carbonare website somewhere with more "up to date" info......
no time to search now, sorry, but i'm sure i found another one and neglected to bookmark it....

Although I like the orchestra version better, this version has some nice ideas too.
