selling my Leblanc Opus Millennium Bb clarinet, serial 78286. I bought it about a year and a half ago, at which point it underwent a full disassembly including pad cleaning, extensive key fitting/oiling/polishing, and other miscellaneous adjustments.
the Opus Millennium was a limited-edition model for 1999-2000 that had some mechanical changes compared to the first-generation Opus, Leblanc's flagship model of the era; in 2001 those changes were standardized into a full-production model called the Opus II. The Opus Millennium and Opus II are mechanically identical, and the Opus 1, 2000, and 2 are acoustically identical.
anyone who has played an Opus/Concerto instrument knows how solid they sound, feel and tune. I only played this Opus Millennium for about 5 hours post-COA because I couldn't find a matching A to pair with this Bb at the time. it has sat unused since then, and I just cleaned it again and replaced the bridge cork in preparation for its sale.
