 Klez Camp questions?
Author: ginny

I know a few of you go to Klez Kamp.

My son, the better clarinetist in the house, is interested in going to Klez Camp this winter. For his 15th birthday he picked out a Natufle Brandwise CD (along with a flamenco guitar CD, swing CD, Eastman Wind Ensemble CD and a alternative Rock CD.)

Will he (or we) feel odd or unwelcome, as non-jews, at Klez Camp? Is it cliquey? Would he belong in the kids program, beginning adult or somewhere else. He's a pretty darn impressive musician for a teen, but quite not a prodigy. He's been playing Balkan music since age 5, though not on clarinet.
