Bob, I'll have to take another look at it. I also taped it, but I watched it during its normal time. I was disappointed that there wasn't any klezmer in the first parade sequence. In the later one, voila! An old familiar tune, Bulgar Ala Naftule. It sounded a little bit different than Naftule's usual style, but it still holds true to the tune. This is one of my favorites to play. I don't know that I'd be to keen on marching while playing it, with the whole 3+3+2 beat Bulgar thing happening. I suppose you could try it with a 4+4 beat instead. It reminds me of the Norwegian Luren singers in Decorah walking in step along while singing in 3/4. I'm taking a guess that none of them were ever in a marching band! Like I said, I'll have to watch that again to see if I can spot a clarinet. -- Nate Zeien
