OK. I've spend hour online line trying to find some information on this clarinet. Being a trumpet player I can't think of anywhere else to go. I collect antique instrument and while on a camping trip I visted some antique shops. I found this clarinet in one of them and purchased it for $50. It's a Boston Wonder silver clarient. It's made in silver not a single piece of wood. The bell of the clarinet says "Trade Mark Boston WONDER Reg. U.S. Pat. Off." At the top of the clarinet it says B-Flat. So the clarinet is in the key of B-flat. At the every top is the number P2843. I've bend to the US patt. office to see if this number was a patt. number, but came up with nothing. This number colud be a seral number, but I'm not sure. I think instrument is a cheap one of it's time. I think it could be from around the 1930's. It could have been use for marching, brass, Dixsland bands. If anyone here know anything about this company or instrument would you please e-mail what you know at trumpetman2005@msn.com P.S. I would like to post a picture but I don't know how.
