What is the best brand and type to buy my dughter.

you may try a yamaha, with silver head joint, open hole, off-set G. Depending on your daughter's level, it is also advisable to buy a flute with B-foot joint.

I would look into the armstrong 303b it sounds incredable and is not as pricey as other models the head is silver. the b foot attachment works well and it is easy to play the intire scale. depending on your daughters size she may not be able to reach all the keys just yet. definately get one with a b foot attachment so she can play the whole range for flute many composers are writing for low b flat.
