 Clarinet thumb rest

How much are the thumb rest and do they really help? I live in minnesota just so u know because i know the prices may vary depending on where u live.

they are really cheap(you mean the padded ones right?) but I stopped using them, because I always lost them and I saw no difference when I didn't or did use them...its really up to you. :/

I think they're 3 bucks tops...but most of the ones i've seen are a lot less

Mine cost a $1.00 but I live in Texas so the price where you live might be a little higher. I myself say that the thumb rest helps a bunch because your thumb wont hurt as much as it would if it was the metal there.
