 Tremolo?

I understand what a trill is but have no clue what a tremolo is. Thanks in advance for a newbee definition.

Just in case anyone else looks here and wonders what a tremolo is, I'll answer the question.

A tremolo is a trill where the two notes are more than a whole tone apart.
