I wish to know how is a sax tunned? Is there a special tunner? Has this to do with some frecuency in db?

how an alto sax is tuned is by the mouthpiece. being pulled in or out changes the pitch. the frequence in N.A. is A=440. and alto sax is in Eb which corresponds in concert pitch to Bb. the most common tuning note is G. if you have an electric tuner, it can tell you if your flat or sharp. flat push in, sharp pull out the mouthpiece.
