I just read the post about using clarinet reeds on a sop. sax, and it reminded me that somewhere I had heard that it was possible to use saxophone reeds on a bass clarinet, but I cant remember if its tenor or bari. Anyone heard this before?

that was on this forum, and it was tenor reeds. in my opinion, you should use reeds made for that instrument, others will be to broad, thick, short, thin, etc for the mouthpice.
