 Paul Brisson Clarinets
Author: Delphine

When I first started playing a friend of mine found a clarinet in her attic and gave it to me for free. Minor repairs had to be done but it is still in okay condition. The clarinet is a Paul Brisson and has both Paris and Germany inscribed on it. I have never heard of a Paul Brisson clarinet. Can anyone give me any info??

I am a member of a New Horizons Band group that began learning woodwind instruments last October. We are now incorporated into a community Rotary Band. One of our members is playing a Paul Brisson clarinet and has not been able to find any history aboout the manufacturer. I just saw your posting of 12/26/03 and wonder (a) if you are still out there? and (b) did you get any responses about Brisson? We would appreciate your forwarding anything about the company. Thanks
Laura
